New "Single" from Mr. Love Jones..
New single released on 06.05.09 titled "American Nightmare", and DEMO version of "Barely American" are now both up on the Official Mr. Love Jones MySpace page. Listen as Shane Wayne addresses some of the changes our
great country is going thru. Both tunes from the forthcoming new CD due out later this summer. The new Barely American music video is coming too!!
Kansas City fans got up close and personal with Mr. Love Jones at the VooDoo Lounge on Friday, June 5th as the band returned to the venue for a third time to promote the new album due out later this summer.
Special guest Hollis opened the show in spectacular style followed by two sets from Mr. Love Jones. Things really heated up during the second acoustic set from MLJ as fans were able to join the band as they performed favorites such as "Bed of Thorns" & "Until Then" from the 2008 "Apology" album.
MLJ brought the sunshine with them on Sunday, April 19th at Crossroads for the benefit concert for Chelsea McCoy & Anna Gallardo. Morning rain and clouds gloomed but just a Mr. Love Jones took the stage here came the sun. The fundraising event turned out great. Here are a few tagged photos on MySpace

One for the kids! MLJ Brings Out The Smiles..
Mr. Love Jones, one of Kansas City's favorite bands, held true to it's promise of
a show for those special fans under 21. The young people came
out and the band delivered at English Landing Park in Parkville,
MO on Sunday, August 24th. Everyone went home feeling good. See

Mr. Love Jones band front man Shane Hall discovers
he is the ill-legitimate great-great grandson of the late movie-star
legend John Wayne and quickly changes his name to Shane Wayne.
He is currently pursuing stakes in the fortune left behind by

Mr. Love Jones Exits Studio..
Recording sessions finally ended for the upcoming
album titled "Apology" set for release
on 06.20.08. The "Apology" disc
contains songs written that reflect on
"relationships" in which at some point in our lives,
most of us have been involved in. Some of these relationships
spark beautiful memories that we can carry for the rest of our
lives. Tracks such as "Bed of Thorns" and "Perfect
Man" are products of these special types of bonds between
